After shopping and visiting friends on Monday the 26th, I ended up at the Indio end of the Valley. One day the temperature registered 119 F. The heat wave in the Cabazon and Coachella Valley area was serious. I booked another two-night comped stay for June 26-27, checking out the 28th. I lost a chunk of cash in the casino, but I wanted to gamble and I did. I visited the spa and indulged in a body scrub which I enjoyed. My room was great - comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning. I was impressed by the cleanliness and condition of the resort and by the service of the staff. The first time was for a two-night comp June 21-22.
